Medical/Global Health Humanities: Reflections on Identity

Health humanities and global health humanities have been the focus of new university programs interested in the recent collaborations between the humanities, languages, social sciences, biomedicine, public health, and global health.

What is the role of the humanities in these new configurations, and in particular, the role of modern foreign languages? What is an ideal collaboration between humanists and global health practitioners, and what is the benefit to our students, both humanities and medical?
