HASTAC at the White House Science Fair

On the heels of the great success of THATCamp RTP this past weekend (Oct 16) at the FHI new Smith Warehouse space, our affiliate HASTAC will be in the spotlight again today (Oct 18) - this time at the White House! Mandy Dailey, Senior HASTAC Project Director, will be at the White House Science Fair at noon today (EST) with 13-year-old Jack Hanson, who earned the highest marks in the Game Changers Kids Competition for young game designers, along with Jack's sister 15-year-old sister Haley, also a winner in the competition, and their mother Lori. Game Changers was part of the 3rd annual Digital Media and Learning Competition, funded by the MacArthur Foundation and administered by HASTAC.

Check out the full press release here. The White House will be live-streaming President Obama's remarks at the Fair here. Congrats to the winners and to the HASTAC team!
