Kate Dickson, Duke's Copyright Librarian, will review copyright, fair use, and the public domain as they apply to digital materials of all kinds. She will also advise on best practices for selection of digital tools-including AI tools--and advance planning for permissions and research replicability. This talk will also address related ethical and privacy issues, especially in the use of traditional and community knowledge. Bring your questions!
