The South Asia Working Group invites you for an interactive book-talk with Professor Durba Mitra, on March 18 at 4pm at Rubenstein Hall 242. Professor Mitra, the Richard B. Wolf Associate Professor of Women, Gender, and Sexuality at Harvard University, will be discussing her newest book - The Future That Was: A History of Third World Feminism Against Authoritarianism (Princeton UP, 2026), and the ways in which South Asian feminist movements have contributed to an imaginary of a Third World Feminism. Join us for an enriching conversation, followed by refreshments.
