Please join the Manuscript Migration Lab in gathering with an international team of scholars and librarians to consider the ethical curation and digitization of medieval Greek manuscripts. This event is inspired by work on the Kenneth Willis Clark Collection of Greek Manuscripts at the Rubenstein Library and the Library of Congress's expeditions to monasteries in Jerusalem, Sinai, and Athos (1949-1953), undertaken under the leadership of Duke professor Kenneth Willis Clark (Jerusalem and Sinai) and his former student, Ernest Saunders (Athos). The microfilms produced during these expeditions are now digitized and freely available at the Library website.
