Sound & Poetry Collaborations

The Outside Poetics x Poetics outside graduate working group facilitates poetic study as collaborative practice-through music and art-foregrounding improvisation and gathering. 'Poetics Outside' means we curate community-facing programming through events with peers from lands near and far. For our fall program, we have invited poet/scholar Michael Cavuto (Duke English PhD candidate) and NY-based experimental bassist Henry Fraser to give a public music/poetry performance. Encourage students to attend but all are welcome to jam! (Doors Open at 7:30)
