Program Coordinator, Duke Human Rights Center @ FHI

Corin Zaragoza joined the Duke Human Rights Center in 2022. Previously, she worked as the Outreach Coordinator for the UNC-Duke Consortium in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and as an English as a Second Language teacher in K-12 public schools. Corin holds a B.A. in English with a double minor in Spanish and Latin American Studies from Loyola University New Orleans and her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction in ESL and Multicultural Education from Virginia Tech. She is most passionate about immigration rights, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and equity in education. Outside the office, you can find her cooking, reading, traveling, or exploring Durham with her daughter and loved ones.
