Program Coordinator, Duke Human Rights Center
Natalie joined the Duke Human Rights Center as the Program Coordinator in April 2025. Her background is in community social work, program management, and strategic engagement. Previously, she was the Director of Member Services & Communications at the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence. She also works as an Adjunct Instructor at Appalachian State University, teaching social work courses on social welfare systems and policies.
Natalie has called Durham home since 2015 and is involved in community organizing in her neighborhood. She's a co-founder of the Oxford Hamlin Community Coalition.
Natalie holds a Master of Social Work from Appalachian State University, where she specialized in Community and Organizational Practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from Louisiana State University.
