Bass Connections (FHI-sponsored)

Bass Connections is a university-wide initiative that brings together faculty and students to explore real-world issues in interdisciplinary research teams. The initiative is structured around five themes: Brain and Society; Information, Culture, and Society; Global Health; Education and Human Development; and Energy. Beginning with the 2018-19 cycle, faculty may also apply through a new channel, Bass Connections Open, for projects that don't align with the existing five themes. The FHI provides additional support for Bass Connections project teams that feature historical perspectives, diverse language processes and products, or aesthetic dimensions of reflection. Follow links to the Bass Connections site for more information about FHI-supported project teams.
