The John Hope Franklin Humanities Institute (FHI) is looking for two (2) eager student camera operators/editors to work with our Multimedia Producer in creating compelling media content for the institute’s social media channels. Any prior experience with shooting and editing video is a major plus. This is open to BOTH undergraduate and graduate students. Flexible hours with a minimum of 10 hours/week. Position is available NOW!

**Federal/Duke Work-Study preferred but not required**

The duties of this position include:

  • Operating professional video camcorder
  • Editing using either FCPX or Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Attending lectures, seminars, and conferences at FHI at Smith Warehouse
  • Using a mirrorless camera for professional hi-res photography, if needed

Candidates for these positions:

  • MUST show up on time when they are scheduled to record an event; 30 minutes in advance of an event
  • Be able to stay until the event concludes to put gear away
